The Farm

Welcome to 4 the Future Farm, LLC!

We are a small, family- and woman-owned farm that specializes in vertical, aeroponic vegetables.

We’re based in the Springfield Metro area of the Missouri Ozarks.

Vertical farming, specifically aeroponics, is a sustainable, year-round, highly productive farming method. This will allow us to maximize our use of land and resources to create a high-value farm that can thrive in an urban environment and still have the yield of a much larger traditional operation. The benefits of this allow for a steady supply of fresh, locally-grown, pesticide- and chemical-free products to local markets weekly. Using 90% less land, 75% less water, and no chemical fertilizer or pesticides, we can offer a real benefit to the community through fresh produce while protecting the local environment and those located “downstream” from the runoff typically associated with traditional framing techniques.

Don’t get us wrong: we love the dirt, too. We’ve found that this method of growing some veggies and herbs allows them to thrive while we save the precious ground for roots and woody plants that need the space.

Our farm name comes from the intersection of four key elements: connection (community building, local growing, food security, inclusion), nature (water, air, nourishment, light), sustainability (environmental, social, economic, spiritual), and legacy (stewardship, resilience, vision, fulfillment).

The family behind the farm: Mom, Dad, and their son.

We're the family behind the farm.

Together, we're building this with the future in mind. We've done a lot of wild things on our journey as a family, but 4 the Future Farm brings us back to our roots - literally.
